June 6, 2010 David Gentry spoke with Lee's nephew and learned they
suspect that Lee may have contracted pneumonia. This will be confirmed (or ruled out)
within the next 24 hours. In the interim they are keeping Lee heavily sedated.
If it is pneumonia, Lee will receive fluids and
antibiotics via IV. Oxygen therapy and breathing treatments normally
follow. This complication on the heels of his by-pass surgery is, at the
least, a very dangerous condition.

Prior to the suspicion of pneumonia, the plan was for Lee to remain in the
critical care unit until next Friday (June 11). At that point he would be
moved to a regular room for an undetermined period of time before being
released from Methodist.

Lee's condition is scary. We all know that he is tough, but this new
complication could not have come at a worse time. Please pray for him.

Updates on Lee's condition will be posted here as more information becomes available.
